Kiiroo FeelStars Display Stand

Overview

As Creative Director at Kiiroo and Luxus, I was responsible for designing and implementing retail display solutions for our products across retailers worldwide. These displays needed to communicate the premium nature of our products while providing clear information about features and benefits in a tasteful, sophisticated manner.

Designer Note
Designing retail displays for intimate products presents unique challenges. The displays need to be informative and eye-catching while maintaining an appropriate level of sophistication for public retail environments. Finding this balance was a key consideration throughout the design process.

From 2020 to 2025, I developed a comprehensive range of display solutions, from single-product stands to multi-product showcases, each designed to enhance the retail experience and drive customer engagement. These displays have been implemented in retail locations across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Design Approach

My approach to designing these retail displays centered around three key principles: clarity, elegance, and brand consistency. Each display needed to clearly communicate product features and benefits, maintain a sophisticated aesthetic appropriate for retail environments, and reinforce the premium positioning of the Kiiroo and Luxus brands.

Designer Note
The materials chosen for these displays were critical to their success. I selected high-quality acrylics, premium finishes, and carefully calibrated lighting to create displays that would stand out in retail environments while highlighting the products' design features.
Kiiroo Modular Range Display with Keon Device

For the Kiiroo displays, I developed a modular system that could showcase multiple products while explaining their interconnected functionality. The sleek black bases with clear product information panels created a tech-forward aesthetic that aligned with the brand's positioning.

The Luxus displays took a different approach, using warmer tones and more lifestyle-oriented imagery to emphasize the emotional and relationship aspects of the products. Clear acrylic stands created the impression that the products were floating, adding to their premium feel.

The FeelStars collection display was designed to showcase multiple products while maintaining visual consistency across different packaging designs.

For the FeelStars collection, I designed a specialized display system that could showcase multiple products while maintaining visual consistency. Each product in the collection featured a different star with unique packaging, so the display needed to unify these variations while still allowing each product to stand out.

The two-tiered display rack uses a minimalist black frame that recedes visually, allowing the colorful packaging to be the focal point. The angled design ensures optimal visibility of each product, even when displayed in busy retail environments.

The modular display system I developed for Kiiroo allowed for consistent presentation across different product lines while accommodating the unique features of each product. The system includes interchangeable information panels, adjustable product mounts, and integrated lighting options.

Each display includes a QR code linking to additional product information, creating a bridge between the physical retail experience and digital content. This omnichannel approach has proven effective in driving customer engagement and providing more detailed information than could be included on the physical display.

For the Luxus brand, I created displays that emphasized the connection between partners. The "Climax Together" tagline is prominently featured, with the products displayed on clear acrylic stands that create a visual relationship between the two devices.

The warm gold tones and lifestyle imagery create an emotional connection with customers, while the clear product information communicates the technological innovation behind the products. This balance between emotional appeal and technical information has been key to the success of these displays.

Designer Note
The interactive element of the Luxus displays was particularly important. The clear acrylic stands allow customers to see how the two products relate to each other spatially, reinforcing the concept of connection that is central to the brand's identity.

Materials & Production

All displays were designed with durability and ease of maintenance in mind, using materials that could withstand the demands of busy retail environments. The primary materials include:

  • High-grade acrylic for product stands and information panels
  • Powder-coated aluminum for structural elements
  • UV-resistant prints for graphics and information
  • Non-marking silicone feet to protect retail surfaces
  • Hidden cable management systems for displays with integrated lighting

The displays were manufactured in partnership with specialized retail fixture producers in the Netherlands and Germany, ensuring consistent quality across all markets. Each display undergoes rigorous testing for stability, durability, and visual impact before being approved for production.

Outcome

These retail displays have played a crucial role in establishing Kiiroo and Luxus as premium brands in their category. Retailers have reported increased customer engagement and higher conversion rates for products featured on these custom displays compared to standard retail shelving.

The modular nature of the display systems has allowed for cost-effective updates as new products are introduced, while maintaining a consistent brand presence across retail locations worldwide. The success of these displays has led to their implementation in over 500 retail locations across 15 countries.
