Design Approach
The design approach for Romano centered around creating a visual identity that would be instantly recognizable and memorable. The logo combines the silhouette of a cassatina siciliana with the name "Romano" integrated into the design, creating a symbol that represents both the brand and its signature product.

Brand Applications
The brand identity was applied across various touchpoints, including packaging, business cards, signage, and promotional materials. Hand-drawn illustrations of traditional Sicilian pastries complement the logo, adding a layer of artisanal authenticity to the brand.
The packaging design features a clean, minimalist approach with ample white space to highlight both the logo and the pastry illustrations. This creates an elegant presentation that reflects the premium quality of the products inside.
Outcome
Since its implementation, the new brand identity has helped Romano establish itself as a premium destination for authentic Sicilian pastries. The distinctive logo has become a recognized symbol in the local community, and the cohesive visual language across all touchpoints has elevated the customer experience both in-store and through packaging.
