Climax Together - 2025

Overview

Luxus is a revolutionary couple toy designed to help partners climax together. The innovative system consists of two complementary devices that work in harmony through magnetic technology.

Designer Note

The design challenge was to create a product that felt intuitive and natural to use during intimate moments. We wanted to eliminate the need for manual controls or adjustments during use, allowing couples to stay fully present with each other.

LuxHer™ is a clitoral vibrator with a responsive magnetic field sensor that reacts to LuxHim™'s movements. LuxHim™ is a sleek, non-vibrating penis ring with a magnet that syncs with LuxHer™, creating a connected experience that responds to the natural rhythm of lovemaking.

The system uses advanced magnetic field technology to create a responsive connection between the two devices, allowing partners to focus on each other rather than on controlling their toys.

Design Approach

The design process began with extensive research into couples' intimate experiences. We discovered that many couples struggle to climax together, with one partner often finishing before the other. This insight led to the development of a synchronized system that could help partners align their pleasure.

Designer Note

We chose soft, organic forms and a gender-neutral color palette that feels sophisticated and inclusive. The blush pink and slate blue colors move away from traditional gendered colors while still providing visual distinction between the two devices.

The form factor of both products was developed through multiple iterations of ergonomic testing to ensure comfort and ease of use. The magnetic technology was integrated seamlessly into the design, maintaining the clean aesthetic while ensuring reliable functionality.

Technology & Experience

Luxus offers two distinct modes that couples can select through the companion app:

Distance Mode: Uses proximity to indicate the distance between the devices. When they're close together, the vibrations are stronger; when farther apart, the vibration is weaker.
Speed Mode: Uses the pace of movements between the devices to increase the intensity of vibration, creating a natural build-up that follows the rhythm of lovemaking.

Both products are crafted from body-safe silicone that is luxuriously soft to the touch. The internal components are housed in a lightweight core, providing durability while maintaining a premium feel.

Designer Note

The yellow indicator light on LuxHer™ was a deliberate design choice. It provides subtle feedback about the device's status without being distracting during intimate moments. The light pulses gently when connected to LuxHim™, creating a visual representation of the invisible magnetic connection.

Digital Experience

The companion app extends the physical product experience with intuitive controls for customizing settings and exploring different modes of interaction. The app's dark interface is designed to be easy on the eyes in low-light settings, with clear visual representations of the devices and their connection.

Outcome

Luxus represents a new approach to couple toys that prioritizes connection and synchronicity. By focusing on the relationship between partners rather than individual pleasure, Luxus creates a shared experience that enhances intimacy.

The project exemplifies how thoughtful industrial design and creative direction can transform an intimate product category, elevating it through sophisticated aesthetics, intuitive functionality, and meaningful innovation.
